At CBC, we firmly believe that safeguarding is paramount. We are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where all children can learn and thrive. Every decision we make, every action we take, and every interaction we have with students is guided by our commitment to safeguarding. We prioritise the wellbeing of every student and strive to ensure they are protected from all forms of abuse and neglect. This commitment extends to all members of our school community, including staff, parents, and volunteers.
We prioritise safeguarding through multiple approaches which include, but are not limited to:
- Regular staff training on safeguarding, including contextual safeguarding
- Clear child protection policies and procedures
- Designated safeguarding team within the school
- Strong relationship with external agencies
- Active listening and responding to students concerns.
