Students recently took part in an engaging and thought-provoking PHSE (Personal, Health, Social and Economic education) session delivered by Fusion (V.I.A). The presentation focused on a range of key topics that are highly relevant to young people today, encouraging students to think critically about their choices and the wider impact these can have on their lives.
Throughout the session, students explored important themes such as healthy relationships, personal responsibility, and decision-making. The presenters used interactive discussions, real-life examples, and relatable scenarios to bring these topics to life. This approach not only captured students’ attention but also helped them connect the content to their own everyday experiences.
A central message of the presentation was the importance of making informed and positive choices. Students were encouraged to reflect on how their decisions, both big and small and can influence their current wellbeing as well as their future opportunities. By highlighting real world consequences, Fusion helped students understand the long-term impact of their actions in a meaningful and accessible way.
One of the most powerful aspects of the session was its honest, open, and supportive atmosphere. Students felt comfortable asking questions and discussing sensitive topics, which allowed for deeper understanding and meaningful conversations. The presenters created a safe space where all contributions were respected, helping to build confidence and promote awareness.
Feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive. Many shared that the session challenged their thinking and encouraged them to consider their actions more carefully. Others appreciated the opportunity to talk openly about issues that are often difficult to address.
The Fusion (V.I.A) presentation was a valuable and impactful experience, equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to make positive choices and better understand the responsibilities they carry as they grow and develop.
